If the issue continues, please let us know—we’re here to help make sure everyone enjoys their stay.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping Turon Gates a respectful and enjoyable place for all!
Arrival between 11 AM and 8 PM only
Arriving outside these hours disturbs other guests who may be sleeping or enjoying the peace of nature. If you can’t arrive during these times, please postpone your trip.
Drive slowly & stay left
Helps prevent collisions, keeps wildlife and you safe
Finding your campsite
Check the map before setting up. The main amenities are near the stables. If you prefer a quieter spot, there are areas further away, but be prepared for a longer walk to the bathrooms.
Walk to the bathrooms when possible
Reduces vehicle traffic and dust and keeps the campground peaceful. If you must drive, park on the road near the hay shed and walk under the fence to the amenities. No high beams at night. The campground is about 1.5km or 10 mins walk from the back gate at the furthest end away to the amenities. If you camp closer to the amenities, be prepared for more people walking past your camp. If you park further away, be prepared for the walk.
No driving through the campground
Helps maintain peace and quiet, reduces dust. If you don’t want to walk, choose a campsite near the amenities. Visitors from the cabins must park near the corral and walk into the campground.
No high beams at night.
Keep your campsite compact & respect others' space
We don’t allocate sites, so please be mindful of privacy. Keep your camp tidy and compact. Use the bins provided for rubbish.
Do not enter the Adults-Only Glamping area
This area is reserved for guests who have booked and paid for that experience.
Keep bathrooms tidy & be considerate
Clean up after yourself and be mindful of others waiting to use the facilities.
Dogs must be on a lead or rope at all times
Keeps them safe and ensures they don’t disturb other campers or wildlife. Clean up after your dog. No dogs allowed in the bathrooms.
Keep fires small & put them out completely
Wind can reignite embers, posing a fire hazard. Always ensure your fire is fully extinguished before bed or when not at your site. Fires are forbidden if it is very windy or there is a fire ban.
